Dimapur, Kohima and Dzukou Valley Tour Itinerary
Late Afternoon: On the way to your accommodation, visit Khonoma Green Village, a small village with a very beautiful nature. Go on a guided walk to this unique village that has been able to keep its natural environment thriving and is home to the Angami Naga people.
Evening: The Hornbill Festival takes place at Kisama Heritage Village. Arrive at your pre-constructed campsite to check-in.
Night: After the welcome dinner, you might also enjoy a walk to the festival grounds where you can glance at the evening setting and the musical shows from your dinner spot.

Afternoon: Now you have a full day festival to enjoy! Try out the food from several food stalls which provide authentic Naga delicacies and the locally made rice beer for tasting. Morning Trek: Start your trek. The first part of your trek is through dense forest, and it steeply goes uphill for about 2 hours. The first wonderful sight of the valley comes along with the fresh air.
Afternoon: The path straightens and you find yourself amidst the bewitching, bamboo clad terrain. Another 1.5-2 hours of hiking will bring you to the Dzukou Valley Base Camp. Have your packed lunch at the camp.
Evening: Walk in the valley and look at the clean streams and the large grasslands. Moreover, if the weather is nice, you will have a splendid sunset and a "sea of clouds" view.
Night: A hot dinner during the camp will be simple and sufficient. Prepare for the very cold night using your warm clothes. In the event of good weather, a bonfire will be at your disposal.

Late Morning: The car will be there to take you wherever you want. In the reverse direction, take a ride to Kohima town.
Afternoon: Visit the Kohima Cathedral (Bishop's House) and get hold of the ideal view of the city. Have a late lunch at a local restaurant in Kohima of your choice (own expense).
Evening: Travel to the airport is the next step in the itinerary after which you will take a cab to your guesthouse/homestay. Enjoy your well-earned rest after the trek at one of these comfortable places.
Night: Enjoy a Farewell dinner (often included as a group meal) after which you sleep in Dimapur.
